7/19/2019Weather permitting, the Black River Canal will be closed to watercraft on Monday, July 22nd and Tuesday, July 23rd from the Tainter gate, located east of Gratiot Avenue, to Lake Huron.  The closure in necessary to enable dredging of sand accumulated at the mouth of the canal.

7/15/2019Beginning Wednesday, July 17, 2019 the City of Port Huron will be making improvements to 13th Street between Water Street and Lapeer Avenue. 13th Street will be closed to thru traffic until approximately the middle of November.  Please follow the posted detour utilizing Water Street, 17th Street, 16th Street and Lapeer Avenue.

6/14/2019The City of Port Huron will mail the 2019 summer tax bills on Friday, June 28, 2019. The summer taxes may be paid without penalty on or before July 31, 2019.

3/16/2017Artificial flowers wreaths and other decorations are prohibited in Lakeside Cemetery and Veterans Memorial Cemetery between April 1 and November 15.  As a reminder, only patriotic flags and flowers are permitted on grave sites.
