Adopt A Park

Your opportunity to promote beautification throughout our city. Your organization, church, business or industry may choose to adopt one of our parks for (1) year and be extra "eyes and ears" to keep our parks looking their very best. Phone 810-984-9760 or 810-984-9751.

Pedestrians on the Parkway

If you love to walk, here's a treat for you! Join the PEDESTRIANS by logging your miles, turning them in on the forms from the Recreation Department.  When you log enough miles, you will join the "50, 100, 500 or 1,000 MILE CLUB" and earn a specially designed T-shirt! Stop at Palmer Park Recreation Center for more information.  Suggested walkways:

• Thomas Edison Parkway
• The Municipal Walk
• The Marina Walk
• Downtown Main Street

Permits for the use of Facilities

Recreational facilities such as ball diamonds, Palmer Park Recreation Center, the amphitheater and Gazebo in Pine Grove Park, the Lincoln Park Gazebo and some special events require permits so we can serve you effectively. These can be obtained at the Recreation Department, 2829 Armour Street, Port Huron, Michigan, Monday-Friday; 8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. For further information call 810-984-9760.
