McMorran Place Complex covers a several block area in the center of downtown Port Huron. It was a gift to the City by the Henry J McMorran Foundation. The McMorran Complex contains two separate works by famed sculptor Marshall M. Fredericks, The Night and Day Fountain and a giant gold anodized aluminum Sculptured Clock.

The complex is composed of the following facilities:
Auditorium/Theatre - The auditorium opened in 1960 and hasan 1,157 seat theatre designed for plays, concerts, and lectures and is home ofthe Town Hall lecture series, the International Symphony Orchestra, Port HuronCivic Theatre, band concerts and Broadway plays. The auditorium providespatrons with excellent sight lines and acoustics from every seat. The backstage is fully-equipped with dressing rooms and a complete light and sound system. An infrared hearing system for the hearing impaired is also available. The theatrealso contains a concession stand.
The Lounge is located on the lower level of the auditoriumand can comfortably seat 250 people and is fully handicap accessible. Thisattractive setting can facilitate meetings, banquets, dinner theatre, weddingreceptions and private parties.
The Memorial Room is located on the south side of the mainfloor of the theatre facility and is used for more intimate meetings andreceptions and accommodates up to 150 people.
The Arena - The ice arena was completed in November of 1962and has over 15,000 sq. ft. of floor space and can accommodate up to 4,500 people for trade shows, conventions, concerts and various attractions. The arena has a quickly convertible ice/floor surface (85' x 185'). The arena also includes concession stands and food/beverage kiosks. The arena is the current home of the Port Huron Prowlers of the Federal Hockey League, Port Huron Minor Hockey, and the Port Huron Figure Skating Club. It is also the home of the International SilverStick Championships each January.
The facility is operated by the Recreation Department under the direction of the McMorran Civic Center Authority.
